“Stayed at Hotel Auwirt for the second time, this time with friends, and once again I’d rate the hotel, the atmosphere, the location, and the staff a solid 10. The hotel feels cozy and gives you a sense of freedom, especially when traveling with friends. The bar is a great spot to enjoy an Aperol after skiing—honestly the best in the area—before heading into the village for après-ski. The bartender also shares great tips, from restaurant recommendations to ski tours.

I’ve also stayed here with a large group (nearly 100 people), and it was an amazing experience. As the main organizer, I was completely taken care of, and having the entire hotel to ourselves felt incredibly luxurious. From an authentic Austrian party (complete with traditional outfits) to delicious food, après-ski in Hinterglemm, and even paragliding—everything was possible and perfectly arranged.

The staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean, spacious, modern, and practically indestructible—ideal for group events. This year, we’re trying another Wens Business Hotels location, but I’m sure I’ll return to Saalbach with Kayak, and definitely to Hotel Auwirt.”
